Congratulations to Jo Horner on receiving the CFUW Sage Award as the longest standing member of our club. For over 65 years, Jo has been championing the CFUW’s mission. We celebrate with Jo for her commitment and dedication.
Jo was also inducted into the Cambridge Hall of Fame this year.

Congratulations to Jeanne Joslin who has been included in Canada’s 100 Notable Women by the National Office of the Canadian Federation of University Women. This award is given to women who have made outstanding contributions within CFUW and/or to the wider community; locally, nationally, or internationally in the fields of Education, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Political Engagement, Organizational Leadership, Cultural Endeavours, or Social Innovation.

2019 Second Year University Scholarship Winners

Congratulations to Emma Beadle!
Emma attended Galt Collegiate Secondary School is currently attending McGill University in the Science Faculty majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Entrepreneurship.
Since she was a little girl, Emma has been curious and interested in the world around her and always knew that she would be a scientist.

Congratulations to Aylaf Karbhari!
Aylaf is a graduate of Galt Collegiate Secondary School and is currently attending the University of Waterloo Faculty of Science, enrolled in Biomedical Life Sciences.
Aylaf is passionate about helping the global community and is involvement with the
U of W Foundation for International Medical Relief for Children.
